This rehabilitation and upgrading project involved UPVC/high-density polyethylene sewer pipeline of 200 mm to 500 mm dia., ductile iron force mains of 150 to 500 mm dia., three sewage pump stations and five sewage lift stations, a sewage treatment plant of 5,600 cu. m/day capacity based on extended aeration process. Submerged membrane filtration system was used for the first time in this sewage treatment plant in the Sultanate of Oman.
NDA provided the Civil/Structural Design and Construction Drawings of Process Buildings, Reservoirs and Tanks for the Sewage Treatment Plant.
